A locked door does not always mean the pharmacy is closed. For security reasons, duty pharmacies may keep the door locked late at night while staff are still working inside. Look for a doorbell, call button, or small service window. Ring the bell and wait for staff. If nobody answers after a reasonable time, check whether another duty pharmacy is listed nearby.

There should normally be no separate night or duty fee for medicines. Medicine prices in Türkiye are regulated and should not change only because the pharmacy is on duty. Your payment may still include ordinary prescription co-payments, price differences, or other prescription-related charges. Ask for an explanation if the receipt looks wrong.
